Radiation Therapy Quality in South Korea
Became first in Korea and 16th in world to offer heavy ion therapy in 2023. Treats 676 patients between April 2023 and June 2025 (538 for prostate, 100 for pancreatic, 17 for liver, 30 for lung cancers). Plans to operate all three heavy ion therapy machines by October 2025, including two rotating gantry systems and one fixed-beam room.
