Inaugurated February 28, 1964. Largest training center in Latin America for specialist doctors in neurological sciences. Graduated more than 200 neurosurgery specialists from 1967-2010, with over 900 total specialists and sub-specialists by 2010. Movement Disorders Clinic operates with board-certified neurologists and functional neurosurgeons. Offers emotional and social support programs including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, and psychological support.
